The Wake Forest University Schools of Business will host its first Wake Forest Connects event in Washington, DC, on June 20 at the offices of McGuireWoods (2001 K Street NW, Suite 400).
Alumni will enjoy a networking reception and a discussion with Steve Reinemund, the Dean of the Schools of Business and retired chairman and CEO of PepsiCo. Beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Wake Forest students will participate in a panel discussion and networking event from 4:00-5:30 pm, where they will learn how to connect their classroom knowledge and skills with job opportunities. Students will also learn how to market themselves effectively in DC and participate in a networking session with area alumni.

Students are encouraged to stay and continue networking with alumni from 5:30-8 pm. This event is co-sponsored by the DC Club and the Wake Forest Office of Personal and Career Development.
Discussion will begin at 6:15 pm with more time for networking at 7 pm. Space is limited so register early to secure your spot, $20 registration.
